Bits and bobs around the house....

And here is an updated pic of sonic who has discovered that he can jump the small fence into our garden and greated us warmly last night with muddy paws and dirty licks. I think he is beginning to look like agro:

Well Ant and myself are off shortly to pay our deposit for our Contiki tour to New Zealand in August (woop woop) and gotta finish cleaning up all the dishes and bottles after madis work party which she kindly left for us while she went to work *sigh* her own personal housemaids!

Bout time for an update!!!

Well it has been awhile and mum has been bugging me for a new entry so here it is, a mini update!

A couple of weekends ago, it was the most beautiful weather (wish had gone to bluff knoll) for a day out so off a group of us went to Wellington Dam for some abseiling and climbing. The scenery was fantastic. A perfect day for a barbie and a good laugh (and trust me there were plenty haha)

Last weekend was the Footy derby, which involves alot of snide comments and edging between myself (dockers supporter) and my housemate Ant (eagles supporter). But alas, once again the Dockers took the lead after a shocking first half and finished triumphantly!! A mighty victory yet again by the mighty Fremantle Dockers!!!

In other news, Ant and I have booked our time off work and tomoz night hot footing down to flight centre to book our Contiki tour in New Zealand (woo hoo), and currently planning possile Bali trip with my mate Danika in november also but that depends on finances haha.

Have started knitting and painting tho am missing a needle after it feel between the lounge chairs and havent worked up the effort to collect it yet so just been hittin the paper and brushes as of late. Will add some photos of my attempts at an artist in the next couple of days :D

Well and off to settle down with a white tea (so goooood) and watch the finale of Avatar the Last Airbender for the 6th time :D :D i recommend this show to any and everyone!

Afternoon walks: Sunset at Grand Canals

Got out the drawing book last night as had a craving to start a new anime attempt. I think im abit out of practice but will soon fix that.

And on a work note, since one of the ladies at work is away for afew weeks, my boss is finally realising my work and actually giving me challenging work and praising me. Both of these things i have missed since Jenny left and i was the only one to pick up the pieces. Several months on, i finally feel appreciated again. Now i actually want to go to work in the mornings. Its a good feeling to have back!

Ant and myself have been researching contiki tours in europe all night and i must say i cannot wait to get out of australia again and see the wonders of the world. The main one we are looking at goes for 33 days and pretty much overs all the main places including italy, paris, venice, england, greece, germany, istambul, amsterdam etc and decided once the tour was over to go back to the places we liked the best and stay there afew days. I cannot wait to see greece and italy. The two places i will not leave without visiting :D

I do hope this trip happenes and im glad it is with someone who I know will enjoy travelling as much as i do :)

All in all wwas a great catch up with Dave, and the music was very enjoyable but no festival is as good as SOUTHBOUND!!! I cannot wait till next years Southbound event. Camping again is a must once again.

New Beginnings

Well i am starting a new blog and hopefully i can stay dedicated to this one unlike my many failed attempts on updating my various other blogs i have started and forgotten over the years haha





Here are afew facts about me:

• I recently moved out of home with my friend of 12 years Madison and her friend Anthony into the golf estate and it has been a great start. Many a nights running on hole 8 over our back fence, laser tag being our latest adventure.


• Ant brought a new pup to keep macy's dog Ruby company. His name is Sonic, though he answers to SonSon and he has just accomplished walking on a lead. However he does seem to suffer from small dog syndrome as he feels it nessecary to bark at anything and everything

• I am planning a nice long holiday hopefully next year as well as buyin a house with my parents this year so have alot 2 look forward to in the coming months. May also begoin to new zealand doin contiki tours which means i can see the Lord of the Rings settings *SQUEE*


• I turn 21 in October


• I love tattoos and am planning a new one for my foot. I would LOVE a sleeve but to be realistic it would never work out in any for or career I am suited for :(


• i have a HUGE obsession with chocolate. As strong as i try to be i always without fail end up with some. Its just sooooooo good!


• taking photos is a great love of mine. i take my camera with me everywhere and though they are more just general photographs i am tryin out a more artistic side. I hope to purchase a more flashy camera by my birthday but i do love my little canon who has yet to fail me. Polaroids are my new love atm, but am hating the price of the paper for them. I dont see how they could go out of fashion as they make the best prints! So mine only comes out on special occasions haha


• I try attend as many music festivals as i can. I enjoy the indie/alternative scene but am really open to all. Each music style suits the many different ego's of myself and love to mix it up.
  
• I am planning to get back into my drawing again also. I can do anime and thats about it haha but i love the characters, the style, the edges.

And i thats about it for now i guess. Work day is nearlly ended finally with only 4 days to go. Now to go home and contemplate a bike ride or a jog/walk and cook creamy bacon and avacado fettucini YUM!
