July Update: Gaga, Olympics and Knees

Well in true Nicole form, I have neglected to keep and daily update on this blog.

Its all about the comeback ok... and my ridiculously goodlooking mo!

 But to make up for it, heres a massive one to cover the several I should have done hehe

Well July was as uneventful as I thought it would be, being winter and footy season, I have come to the conclusion that very little happens during these cold months now in this household! (bring on summer already :P )

But in sayin that, July wasnt without its moments.

I'll start of with the main even that has had a big impact on myself and Dan this year and that his football injuries. In June, I mentioned during his first game back after 8 weeks off with a knee injury, he lasted just over a quarter only to manage to damage his other knee even worse then the other resulting in possible surgery! Well he had an MRI scan and it was pretty much confirmed that he will need surgery. This new has been very disheartening for Dan. His recover from surgery then the rehab to follow will take a good year to be right again for football, and given the time of the year this has happened he will miss this years final, the summer season of wakeboarding, and majority of next years season of football :( He is not a happy chappy but hopefully when he gets his surgery on August 8th, he can finally begin his recovery and start looking more positively to the future :)

Now onto more happier times, at the begining of this month, Danika, Janelle and myself had tickets to see Lady Gaga at Burswod Dome!! She put on a great show, but silly me forgot my glasses and couldnt quite make her out from where we were sitting :( None the less she had everyone up out of their seats during her hit songs and sung soem amazing accustic versions of You and I and Hair! As always her style was crazy as and her performance very entertaining!!! Next time I might try for the standing area!!

Towards the end of the month, Daniel's footy club had some sort of mid year party with a prize draw, an the theme was Olympics! So off a group of us went in our best olympic attire. Ill Let the photos do the talking haha but the night was fun, free wine and beer, a band and lots of decorations we but to use ensured a good time was had!!!
