Girls Weekend Away

Well this weekend has come and gone fast! And what a fun weekend it was!

After a couple of weeks planning and a long weekend approaching, Danika and I made a girls weekend possible. Saturday morning, myself, Billie and Kelsie braved the early morning (8.30am) to head up to Perth for a weekend of shopping, pure romance and possible dancing and betting at the casino! Chatting the whole 2 hours up made the car trip very quick and soon enough we were at arrived at Hotel Danika! Danika and Taryn were ready and waiting for us to begin SHOPPING!

Spice Girls pumping and busting out the moves, we cruised into the city to Harbour town, each with a shopping list in mind! I have to say I was a little disappointed at the choice of clothing out at the moment! Understandably it is coming into winter so all the winter stock is in but seriously, not everyone wants to wear dark purples, blues, mustard yellow, algae green and grey! Some people want colour, some people want to brave the cold in small dresses! Some people needed to buy dresses!!! Damn you winter clothing! My shopping wasn’t to successful! Pick up a couple of items though.

We gained 2 around 2 pm – Madi and Bek and made our way into the city for more current options! Again, still disappointing! So abit of entertainment was required!

6 hours of solid shopping later and closing time, we were buggered, but still made the walk back to the car, keeping the entertainment running.

Back by 6pm, it was time for Billie to present to us her first Pure Romance party, and she nailed it! She was knew every item in detail, was patient when we let the drinks get to us abit and had a bit of a play with the items, and played some fun games that had everyone laughing!

As the orders took place in “Vegas” with Billie, the drinks kept flowing and so did some comical moments.

Someone came to their senses and decided we should start to get ready. Again, more photos ensured:

It was probably 11pm when we decided a taxi was required, so off to the Casino we went! I don’t think anyone was successful in winning anything! I for one lost $140 in Blackjack and Roulette! Missed my lucky charm (Daniel) so was abit devo and may have taken it out on my alcohol intake!

All done and dusted by 3am, we headed home so all pretty much crash and burn on the couch!

The next morning, not so fun for me! I didn’t drink any more then I usually would, but sitting down all night had its damaging affects, resulting in a very nauseous couple of hours for me! Nothing some Maccas and Subway can’t fix. D&M’s, cleaning up and drunken sister collecting (Danika) and a lot of food later, it was time to head home. Lucky I had Billy and Kelise to keep me away on the way home again otherwise the eyes would have drooped a little! We made it home safely around 6pm to a house of boys loudly yelling through the house as they killed each other on Call of Duty! YAY *sarcasm*

Very little happened the following day (thank god there was no work) so it was good to just relax and try and rebuild some energy to face the 4 day week approaching!

Was a fun weekend with all the girls! More are a definite must in the future!
