Belated hello to 2011! A new decade has began, and new adventures loom on the horizon.
A quick recap of my silly season celerbrations which i shall write about soon:
Ringing in the new year was quite tame, having finished work at 10pm then playing a quick round of catch up to be slightly over merry at 12am. The following day was spent at the Perth cup with Ant, my first time at the races, and it was quite enjoyable. Christmas was also a quiet affair. A quick trip down to Esperance (more on that later) and then work in between these 2 celebration.
But the real party is about to begin. A full year lies ahead, and boy am I ready to dive in head first. So without further a due, I present my list of upcoming events to look forward to in 2011:

And after that... well ill let you know once I get through all of the above!
There are several posts I would like to do, including celebrations over the silly season, trip to Esperance as well as what I hope to achieve this year. So keep an eye out for them, but one I will share now is that I hope to keep a regular blog so when I go away, family and friends can keep in contact and see how we will be coping living out of a backpack for 4 months!
