Its been nearly 2 years since my 4 months away! And I’m getting the travel shakes bad! Yeah I know I went to Bali last year but that just felt like a lip of an ice-cream. You get the taste on your tongue and all you can think of is I want more!
So after much browsing, contemplating, planning, itinerary making and bugging, I was able to get Dan to decided on somewhere he would like to go for a trip away and created an itinerary for a month long trip in America & Canada! WOOOOO

We are off on June 1st and arrive back in WA on June 28th, and everything in between is all set! For Dan’s first big trip away, I thought we would keep it simple! No backpacking and planning as you go! We are going to be doing 2 Contiki tours to see as much as possible in what little time we have in 2 of the largest countries in the world!
Our first stop is in LA for a couple of night to get over the very long flight from Perth via New Zealand with a 12 hour stop over (hopefully we can leave the airport), before starting our tour and going to San Diego, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas! This route I have done before back when I went to America in 2011. It is actually a shortened version of the LA to the Bay tour Ant and I did that went to Yosemite National park after Vegas then finished in San Francisco. These are places I think Dan will really enjoy, and I enjoyed them when I was there last time and want to see them again so I am more then happy to go back. After the tour finishes in Las Vegas, we are staying an extra 2 nights before we fly to Vancouver!

In Vancouver we have 2 days before starting our second tour called Canada & Rockies. This tour joins onto the Grand Canadian which has been going for 9 days beforehand, so I’m a bit worried about clicks and groups already being formed but hopefully everyone will be friendly and welcoming! This tour goes from Vancouver to Whistler, Kamloops, Banff, Jasper, Vernon and back to Vancouver over 11 days and on the final day, we depart and head home!

Am very looking forward to seeing Canada and to spend a bit more time in Las Vegas because there is so much to see and do there!!!!
I have paid for half the trip already and the rest I am finalising and paying off on the 21st of March! YAY Just got to find a direct flight from Vegas to Vancouver and I’ll be super happy :D :D :D
Also excited I get to take my DSLR this time so can take some snappy shots! Hopefully haha gah that’s one of the main excitements of mine! I don’t care if I look like a major tourist! Hell I am one!
Bring on June!!!!
