Wishlists and Realities

As today is dragging on abit, I thought I would make up a small list of items/activities that I hope are apart of my future soon enough. Just 4 things that have been on my mind for either a long long while, or maybe just today! So I present to you, my first little wishlist

1. Egypt has been my most ultimate destination to travel too! After reading River God by Wilbur Smith several years ago, I dream about sailing down the Nile, seeing the pyramids, Valley of the Kings, going through the Egyptian Museum, so much to see and do! I did have a flight booked to Egypt to spend a month on my 4 months away, but had to cancel due to the Egyptian Revolution. I will make it there one day! I will!! Hell while Im there, I'd duck into Jordan as well for afew days with this tour: Road to Jordan - 17 Days with On The Go Tours! Gah, getting excited just thinking about it!

2. This is the newest lens I want to add to my collection. The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens! I already have 2 lens, the 18-55mm and 55-200mm which came with my camera as a lens kit, and although they have been fun to use, its either one or the other all the time. The 18-135mm seems to me more like an everyday, leave on your camera lense which i think will be really useful when I go away in June. Also would mean less to lug around in my camera bag and to worry about. At $400 on ebay, I'm going to start saving!

3. Just craving one of these bars atm. Emma & Tom's Life Bars! A much healthier option then a chocolate bar and absolutely delicious! I have had the Cacao and Orange one and it tastes just like Jaffa flavour! The Banana life bar is next on my list to try!! Might hit up the shops tonight :D

4. Lugging around a very obvious camera bag whilst on holidays loudly screams TOURIST! or professional haha, but it also makes you an easy target to spot for thiefs! Even when you arent on holiday and like to keep your DSLR on you at all times, who would want to carry an ugly standard camera bag! Not me! Enter Jo Totes Camera Bags! In Love In Love In Love! I love this colour and the style! In fact I love ALL the colours and most of the styles! I also have a Kelly Moore bag but the more the merrier, plus I feel like I need to break out of the black zone!

So thats 4 little (but very expensive except the bars) things that I'm wishing and dreaming and craving over. In most likely order of achieving this list, it will go 3, life bars, 2. Canon 18-135mm lens, 4. Camera bag and then 1. Egypt Adventure! I will make it happen!

But sometime wishes do come true! After much research and comparing, I lashed out and brought a Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash!!!



My new Toy - Coming Soon



Fingers crossed it arrives before next weekend as I have big plans over the Easter long weekend to play with it! CANNOT WAIT to have a play! Im excited to be expanding my camera equipment! Slowly I am collecting all the pieces I want. One day I hope so set up a mini studio at home for portraits of family, pets and newborns! But one step at a time! I cant get to far ahead of myself when Im only just teaching myself the manual settings :) One step at a time!
